Some different between boiling and evaporation

boiling evaporation
ONLY on the boiling point can below boiling point
NOT only on the surface only on the surface
usually have bubble no bubble present
BOTH absorb heat

(1): both boiling and evaporation absorb energy(heat) from the liquid, so (1) is incorrect.

(2): boiling occurs at a definite temperture(boiling point) and the evaporation can occur BELOW the boiling point, INCLUDING room temperture, so the statement "evaporation take place above the room temperature" is false.

(3): boiling can take place in every part of the liquid, and evaporation can ONLY take place on the surface, so (3) is correct.
